The Doctor’s Holiday is the seventh episode and the first Christmas Special since 2020's The Christmas Special, following the end of Rebellious Projects’ Doctor Who Season 1.
Synopsis
[edit | edit source]It's Christmas Eve; Simon and Liz have a date night and the Doctor is left all alone. But what are those familiar-looking robots in the window? Perhaps it won't be such a silent night after all...
Plot
[edit | edit source]Simon and Liz get ready for their date night and request for the Doctor to take them home. As he finds himself alone again, the TARDIS takes off and lands elsewhere on Earth, where the Doctor finds himself outside a Kettlewell Mechanics store, full of K1 Robots.
The robots begin to activate and rampage across the city, which interrupts Simon and Liz’s date. They bump into the Doctor, who reveals the metal virus to destroy the robots and he uses his sonic screwdriver to filter the virus through the air, which successfully defeats the K1 Robots. After defeating the robots, the Doctor apologizes to Simon and Liz for ruining their date, but they admit that it felt wrong to leave their best friend alone. They go back to the TARDIS, ready for more adventures yet to come, as a K1 Robot lies in the street, beginning to glow…
