Biography
Early Life
Not much is known, besides his mother passing away when he was younger. (EP: The Memory Hunt)
Travels with the Doctor
Simon encountered the Doctor during his fifteenth incarnation and later witnessed the regeneration into his sixteenth after he was fatally wounded. Uncertain if the regeneration was going to grow unstable, he and the Doctor stayed grounded on Earth in 2021 at UNIT HQ until it was safe to depart from the planet while the prolonged post-regenerative process was still going. After the whole post-regeneration kerfuffle and the Doctor's swift recovery from it. They went on to have proper adventures facing all sorts of foes. (WS: Season 1, Season 2)
The Doctor eventually grows apologetic about bringing Simon along but he protests and says that he doesn't mind being with the Doctor. (EP: The Vampire) They also eventually find the right time to go to Tranquilitiy F-1-2-Z, where they also recruit Simon's girlfriend, Elizabeth Bailey. With the chaos ensued on the cruise ship by the Fearmongerer, being worried sick for her and being afraid that she might die, his love for her cancelled out the fear formed by the creature - ultimately defeating it. The escape pod they were inside of crashed on the surface of Gallifrey, setting up certain repercussions like meeting the Master again and encountering a past incarnation of the Doctor's. After this, Liz decides to permanently join the two in their journey. (EP: The Fearmongerer, The Expunction of Timeless History)
Bringing Back Gallifrey
The TARDIS team were summoned to Gallifrey by the same incarnation Simon met before, only this time, their task was to start a new generation of Gallifreyans. Until then, the Master appeared and thwarted said plans, or so he thought. After he banished everyone in the Cloisters, he was matched up with the Doctor's supposed next incarnation where they ran away from a Dalek until the founding fathers stumbled upon them. After the whole thing was resolved, the trio departed. (EP: The Then, The Now, The To Be)
After Gallifrey
Their travels swiftly continued after those events until the Third Dalek Civil War (EP: Atrocity of the Daleks, Corruption of the Daleks) and fighting off an entity who has been the heart of the Doctor's TARDIS since the beginning, named Entrophy. It attacked both him and Liz until the Doctor stepped in and eradicated it. (EP: Enter: Time) However, things didn't get better from there. They had to materialise in Brighton, 1937 due to the side-effects that occurred of the previous adventure. As a result, two doctors of a mental hospital have obtained plans that have fallen out of the TARDIS and used them to develop their own Cybermen where he and Liz were taken in as subjects and were half-converted until the Doctor healed them during his supposed "regeneration", thus they recovered after he had to make a quick stop to his lab back at UNIT in the 20th century. After learning about the Doctor's regeneration, Simon was furious and gave the Doctor reminders of whatever reckless move he tries next - he will literally die. This primarily occurred after the Doctor was swallowed by the Kraken and he had to make sure it also consumed the TARDIS, ensuring his escape. (EP: Mystery from the Deep)

Personality
Simon's very down-to-earth and caring towards people around him, especially his family and friends. He has the tendency to usually call someone out if they're doing something he doesn't like and knows that it will bring consequences, like the Doctor. But sometimes, he can easily give up when the situation is bleaker than he thought.

He usually cracks a lot of jokes, mostly pop-culture related.
