Feast Of The Angels is the second episode of Rebellious Projects' Doctor Who, as Scheme of the Zeons came before it.

Synopsis

The Doctor and Simon arrive on a strange world powered by the forces of Time with stone statues trying to harness its power and then coming to get him and his TARDIS.

Plot

The Doctor and Simon land on a strange planet. This is not where they had planned to go, but the TARDIS had been dragged there by a sort of Time Magnetism. An alien called Obtang greets them and tells them that they're on the planet Rreptfor.

They discover the power source early on, a meteor that fell onto the planet and has been letting out temporal energy ever since, meaning that the planet is full of unstable time energy. Thanks to that, the inhabitants have lived to tolerate the distortions and can foresee the future. Obtang even foresaw this conversation. All sorts of time distortions are happening, and the planet itself is phasing in and out of existence. THe three of them run back but the TARDIS is even affected, being unable to leave until the planet is stabilised. Obtang collapses to the ground and foresees a dark future, enemies coming to consume Rreptfor. Unfortunately, the Doctor and Simon cannot just idly wait; someone else has come to the planet. A massive army of Weeping Angels have come to populate and feed on the planet, and they will not let the Doctor go.

The Doctor eventually learns that consuming this much temporal energy will destroy the Angels in the process. They decide to duck just as the Angels surround them to trap them for the time being so they can get away easily. He first thinks that waiting until the Time Quakes destroy them all first will help but then Simon argues that they don't have days and the fact the whole planet might be destroyed by then. The Doctor gets an idea. He wants Simon and Obtang to find the epicenter of the time distortions and increase them until it cancels out all the Angels then they can use them to reverse the damage to the planet. He then recommends Simon and Obtang to intentionally get sent back in time by the Angels to use the Sonic Screwdriver on the meteor as it begins to pulsate immensely. Meanwhile in the present, the Angels begin to all crack apart and the distortions run even more intense as they all turn to dust. The Doctor is affected and he also "dies".

The blue mist that's been emitting from the meteor this entire time has gone. It's no longer glowing. Simon and Obtang believe that the Doctor is dead until they hear the sound of the TARDIS. It turns out that it materialised around the Doctor. Its energy cancelled out the effects of the distortion. Obtang realises that his species have now been given a second chance after taking their temporal powers for granted. Simon predicts that they should meet again someday, one that the Doctor agrees with. The two depart in the TARDIS.
